It all began 8 years ago, when I decided to be a stay at home mom…and ever since, I have spent countless hours practicing different techniques in order to become a better artist. I feel like I am learning and evolving with each painting, and that in itself, is worth trying.

Art is not only my career, it is part of my everyday life, it is part of my soul and my whole being. I love to create, whether it’s painting, cooking or decorating.

But I could not do what I do, without the love and support from my wonderful family…

What it’s all about.

I am a fine art painter of landscapes and nature, living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with my lovely husband and two beautiful daughters. My art is featured at The Foyer in Baton Rouge as well as The Southern Curator in Covington, LA.

As a young child, I was always mesmerized by the peace and beauty of the nature that surrounded me. In my dear home of Quebec city, Canada, there was never a shortage of awe-inspiring landscapes, filled with beautiful trees, rushing waters, and colorful sunsets. God's paintbrush was always a source of solitude.

At just fourteen, my journey began as my first paintbrush touched canvas. I was immediately enthralled by the process of transferring vision to reality. With each new creation, I grew as an artist and as a person. However, it would be years before I grew in confidence to become a professional artist.

At the young age of nineteen, a new journey began as I became a wife and moved to the United States. Speaking no English and knowing no one other than my new husband and his family, I once again found solace on canvas. With each stroke, I fell deeper into the passion of re-creating God's handiwork.

I quickly fell in love. Though I was far from Quebec, the beauty of Louisiana, with its bayous full of cypress trees, moss, and wildlife, towering live oaks, and adoring people, I knew I had found my new home. God had indeed painted Louisiana as well.

As I continue to evolve as an artist, so will my work. I will always strive to do my best and hope that no matter where my journey takes me, I will be able to share my vision and the love that I have for the majestic nature that surrounds me.
